Vegetable Burger Soup

Vegetable Burger Soup is another favorite because that doesn't require you to peel, cut, and chop vegetables. Good made in a Dutch oven or a slow cooker.

Ingredients:

* 1 lb. ground chuck
* 1 lb. can stewed tomatoes
* 1 can tomato sauce (1 cup)
* 2 cups water
* 1 pkg. frozen mixed veggies (10 oz.)
* 2 Tbsp. dry onion soup mix
* 1 tsp. sugar

Directions:

Lightly brown the ground chuck in a Dutch oven. Drain off the fat. Add the other ingredients and stir. Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce the heat. Simmer for at least an hour.

You can also make this in a slow cooker. Brown the meat and drain, as above. Add meat and the remaining ingredients to the slow cooker and cook on low for six hours or longer.
